Webinar Description: Prospective evidence demonstrates that non-ablative radiation dose improves local control without a meaningful impact on overall survival for patients with inoperable pancreas cancer. While the prescribed dose has historically been constrained due nearby GI organs at risk, the development of advanced treatment techniques has enabled the safe delivery of ablative hypofractionated radiation therapy. Emerging evidence suggests that dose intensification in selected patients achieves significantly improved long-term local control and overall survival.
