Model 008V “ViewRay ® Dynamic Phantom”

Designed in cooperation with ViewRay, the CIRS Model 008V is used to test unique capabilities of the MRIdian system. The phantom indexes to the ViewRay couch and is designed to accommodate the MRIdian flexible torso coils. The phantom body is comprised of a plastic shell with a cylindrical thru-hole, which accommodates a moving rod. There are five static and three dynamic targets optimized for ViewRay motion tracking algorithms. The body and targets are filled with proprietary gels formulated for imaging and dosimetry on the ViewRay system. The phantom provides a signal output of target position essential to test beam latency. Patent # US 7,151,253 B2
